Philippine Fast-Folding EVA Ballot Box

The Philippines experiences high temperatures, high humidity, and a long rainy season throughout the year. To reduce the impact of extreme heat on vulnerable voters, senior citizens, persons with disabilities, and pregnant women were allowed to vote from 5:00 a.m. to 7:00 a.m. during the 2025 elections. This meant that polling stations had to complete the placement of election materials and the setup of voting areas before sunrise, placing high demands on transportation efficiency and installation speed. Under these circumstances, a customer in the Philippines customized a batch of 40L EVA foldable ballot boxes from us.

The ballot box measures approximately 44 × 35.5 × 25 cm when unfolded. Its moderate capacity provides enough space for ballots while remaining easy for staff to carry and arrange. When folded, its thickness is only about 13.5 cm, helping save storage and transportation space. The EVA material is lightweight, flexible, and offers a certain level of cushioning, making it more suitable for the hot, rainy, and humid conditions in the Philippines. The blue-and-black color combination also helps staff quickly identify folding directions and connection points, reducing on-site assembly time.

During the sample approval stage, we also proactively improved two details. First, we added high-contrast blue markings at key connection points so that staff could assemble the boxes quickly in low-light early-morning conditions or when preparation time was limited. Second, we reserved areas for box numbers and district labels, making distribution, registration, and collection more convenient. The customer appreciated these improvements based on practical use. For us, meeting the customer’s stated requirements is only the starting point. Identifying and solving potential problems in advance is the true value of our service.
